Kids’ Wheel and Handbuilding
Thursdays with Caeli | 3:30-4:30pm
This class is designed for elementary school children who are eager to explore both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. All students will learn the steps to make forms such as cups, bowl, and plates.
No prior experience needed for any student. Kids just need to come prepared to get muddy and spend time delving into the world of ceramics for a creative adventure.
Fall I classes start August 24th - Register ASAP.
Teens’ Wheel and Handbuilding
Tuesdays with Jack | 4:30-5:45pm
All levels class for middle school and high school ages. With both the wheel and handbuilding, students will focus on control, consistency, and pushing their skills a little further each week.
Each class is tailored to students’ interests, allowing them to return again and again as their skills grow. More advanced students will have space to push their skills to increase height as well as form complexity.

Gainesville Homeschoolers
Fridays with Abbey | 10-11:15am
Taught in a small setting with other homeschooled students, kids will learn coil, slab and pinching handbuilding techniques as well as close instruction on the potter’s wheel.
A great opportunity for all ages to explore clay while building confidence and making new friends.

Mommy + Me: Zoo Pals Plates
Saturday Aug 22nd | 10-11:30am
We’re bringing that nostalgic energy of Zoo Pals plates into the clay studio. Makers will use sturdy animal stencils to cut their animal shape from a clay slab, and drape it into a plate mold to create their very own dish.
Choose from a handful of summer-themed animals, like frog, whale, turtle or ladybug. Makers will decorate their plates as they wish, bringing their animals to life.
Mommy + Me: Cozy Critter Dishes
Saturday, September 19th | 10-11:30am
Parents and children will sculpt adorable woodland-inspired ring dishes perfect for holding tiny treasures. An all-ages introduction to clay that covers shaping, cutting and glazing.
After you pick up your glazed piece, you’ll have a keepsake you or your kiddo can use every day.
