Taken a class or two and ready to make the leap? If you’ve learned how to center on the wheel, our Wheel 2 six-week class is thoughtfully designed to guide you through a wide range of throwing skills and creative processes essential for advancing your wheel throwing journey. Throughout the course, we will focus on techniques to gain height, achieve balance, control wall and foot thickness, improve tool proficiency, and begin to explore the more intricate relationships between form and function.
If you’ve taken Wheel 2 a few times and find yourself comfortably trimming your pieces, it’s time to level up. Join us in the Intermediate section of wheel throwing, where you will learn to create more complex forms, work with pieces consisting of multiple parts, and develop sets that showcase your growing expertise. Intermediate classes are listed in the section below Wheel 2.
