From themed workshops and girls’ nights out to special collaborations, our all-ages one-time events are a fun, low-pressure way to make something with your hands and create something you’ll actually want to keep.
Each event is beginner-friendly and guided by one of our teaching artists, so no experience is necessary. Just bring yourself, your favorite people, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy.
Have four or more people in your group? If the scheduled times don’t work for you, arrange a private experience for your crew.

“little Guys” miniature animals sculptures
Saturday, July 18th, 2-4pm
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make your very own miniature animal sculpture, lovingly dubbed as “Little Guys”. These Little Guys are intended to easily fit in your hand and can function as stim toys, tea pets, desk guardians. During the workshop, you can opt to make yours into a plant stake to display in a houseplant or garden. We will be making your Little Guy out of white clay and decorating them with your choice of glaze.
MORE ABOUT RHYS:
Ever since I was a kid I’ve been fascinated by small things, so naturally when I started working with clay, the first few things I made were what my customers have lovingly named “Little Guys”. Like humans, each Little Guy is unique in their own way— even if we try to make them as similar as possible, there will always be small variations in shape or color. It’s the magic of creation!
Overall in my work I like to showcase designs that are weird and wonderful, all inspired by nature’s artistry. I cannot say that I outright prefer one specific subject matter, as there is far too much to explore in the world…though I am particularly drawn to invertebrates and odd looking plants. I also enjoy a good fantasy creature too!
